How to get here
The island is easily reachable within a few hours. First of all, you need to reach the Port of Formia (LT) where ferries to Ventotene are available every day.
The Port of Formia in turn is easily reachable by car or by train :
A train trip from Rome to Formia-Gaeta railway station only takes an hour and a half, even less if you’re coming from Naples.

Attention
It is really not recommended to come on the island by car, given the pedestrian nature of much of the city center and the small size of the island.
